Labour Market Service Austria (AMS)

The Austrian Public Employment Service has 99 regional offices all over Austria and works with approx 4500 labour office advisers. About 50,000 unemployed people are qualified on average each month in various training courses with the aim of improving their labor market opportunities. The dissemintion will reach all advisers so that the professional qualification measures will take into consideration future job development.

Chamber of Workers and Employees

The Chamber of Workers and Employees, abbreviated to the Chamber of Labor (AK), is the legal representation of workers interests in Austria. The approximately three million members have legal entitlement to support in labor and social questions. It is foreseen that various pubications of the AK will refer to the outputs of the projec.

Wirtschaftsförderungsinstitut (WIFI)

The Wirtschaftsförderungsinstitut is an Austrian organization of vocational adult education. Every year, more than 30,000 courses are attended by around 350,000 participants. 12,000 trainers come directly from professional practice.

Institute for Advanced Studies, Vienna

This institute has elaborated the study “Digitization of work: Substitution of occupations in the course of automation by Industry 4.0” and will be informed about the outcomes of our project.

Austrian Social Ministry

This administrative body has been designated as the Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection, is primarily responsible for social policy, social insurance, nursing, senior citizens’ policy (Ministry of Social Affairs), labor (Ministry of Labor), and consumer policy.
